A Busy Month!
So, I've been a terrible blogger lately....this month has been insanely busy....but lot's of fun as well!
We had a surprise Bday party at my house to celebrate Deb's 30th Birthday!
Happy Birthday Deb!!! We Love you!
Noelle's little girl, Graham, loved playing in Ryders unfinished nursery....and especially loved getting in his crib! Too cute!
Julie graduates from Law School!!!! Congrats Jules...we love you and are so proud of you!
My dad turns 60!
So, sorry to dissapoint any of our other precious little girls, but I'm pretty sure Kate is Andy's favorite....she LOVES Mr. Andy and always wants him to hold her....she especially loves coming to visit Ashley Mac's because we give her strawberry cake(:
We are going to hire Kate to wash our windows at Amacs....
I guess we're gonna have to have a girl too....so precious
Well, my belly is officially catching up to Scott's...
Andy turns 29- are we really almost 30 now? yikes!

Lauren's Baby Shower....we can't wait to meet this little girl....who is waiting on a name?!!!
Cake Pops....I made cake pops for the shower favors...I'm sure many of you have seen this on Bakerella's blog.....we make "cake truffles" at AMac's and "cake pops" are really just our cake truffles on a stick...so it was super easy and fun to do something a little different..although I don't think I could do all the animals and shapes she does!

Cupcakes Galore
We had the opportunity to provide the desserts for SKIRT magazine's One year Birthday party last month. It was really fun to have a different kind of project to do outside of the usual catering. And the giant cupcakes were definitely a new challenge for me. I made them the day before and was pleased with the way they turned out considering I only spent a few hours on them...BUT, I made a lot of mistakes and think I'll be able to perfect them next time now that I kind of know what I'm doing.
Anyways, for the 7 days following this party, our phone was ringing off the hook for cupcakes..it was crazy! We have 1,000 to do for a party in June- THAT will be interesting! Time to start investing in some more cupcake pans I guess.
I have been trying to talk Andy into letting me open a Cupcake store like all the trendy ones in LA and NYC... so we'll see. I finally experimented with a unique cupcake recipe I have had for years and they were a big hit (with Andy and the staff anyway!)... so they might be the next to debut at AMacs.

Girls Trip to LA
Some of our best friends, Patrick and Noelle, are moving out to LA this summer. Andy and I won't know what to do without them around:( Patrick has already moved to another city for training so we only get to see him when he comes home once a month. But on a fun note, me and two of Noelle's other friends flew out there with her to help find a place for them to live. We had such a fun time! We went to Newport and Laguna Beach, Santa Monica, Malibu, Culver City, and of course Beverly Hills. It was one of those trips you just didn't want to end!

We LOVE the beach!
Julie (Andy's sister) had Spring Break this past week so we decided to pretend like we had one too and joined her and the parents for a long weekend. It was absolutely GORGEOUS weather! 75 and sunny the whole time! I laughed and told some friends last night that I had to go to the beach to get the pregnancy glow- with the way I've been feeling it sure wasn't going to happen without a tan! Anyways, we had so so so much fun... We ate some great food and Julie and I soaked up all the sun we could!

21 weeks
After eating at this amazing Italian place at the Wharf, Ryder was full and therefore by belly felt huge!
Still squeezing into my regular bathingsuits...actually sported a bikini the first day- I guess I will break down and get a maternity one before we come back in May. Ryder was kicking like crazy when I laid out- not sure if he was saying "it's getting too hot in here" or "i love the beach"... we'll go with the second one
