In Reverse Order....
December 9th-ultrasound- saw the precious little heart beating! Meausuring 6 wks 5 days
NOW...anxiously waiting for our next ultrasound and praying we will see a healthy little baby and heartbeat
December 1st- First Ultrasound at 5 weeks 2 days- saw liittle yolk sac- Beta level over 8,000..everything looks good!
November 25th- Beta level 1,000
November 21st- Beta level checked again- 158.. right on track (needs to at least double every 48-72 hours)
Noevember 19th- Beta level of 61- confirmed pregnant at the doctor
November 18th-took home pregnancy test by myself while Andy was at a meeting- POSITIVE! lots of tears
November 14th-Progesterone check-41..higher than it's ever been... I wonder if this could be the month!
November 7th- IUI #5
November 5th-HCG shot to release egg
October 28th- 3rd round of Follistim Shots-increased dose to 150iu
September 5th- taking a much needed break
September 4th- negative Beta
August 23rd- IUI #4
August 15th-20th- 2nd round of Follistim Shots- increased dose of 100iu (I only did 75 last time)
August 14th- Ultrasound- Cysts are gone
July 18th- negative Beta
July 3rd- IUI #3 w/ follistim-praying 3rd times a charm!
June 25th- begin follistim shots- fun times!
June 16th- negative pregnancy test
waiting..waiting..waiting
June 3- nurse missed ovulation somehow.. no IUI this month
June 1-check ovulation status- blood work and u/s- not quite ready
May 24-28 Take Letrozole
May 2008- no more clomid thank goodness! Horrible side effects!! Doctor suggests we move on to injectibles- but gives us the option of letrozole (femera)- a drug primarily used for breast cancer patients but has been proven to help ovulation. Letrozole is much cheaper and doesn't have the increased risk of mulitples like the shots do so we vote on that.
End of April 2008- IUI #2 on 100 mg of clomid- had 3 eggs but no pregnancy
End of April 2008- Clomid Challenge Test- abnormal (slightly elevated FSH level- translation: I might not have as many eggs as the average woman my age and the quality might not be as great)- Dr. decides we need to be more aggressive
April 2008- have to skip cycle due to lap surgery
April 2008- Lap surgery to find out what's going on- results: mild/moderate endometriosis, one ovary attached to sidewall of abdomen, some scar tissue near appendix- all fixed
April 2008- HSG test (dye test to check tubes)- abnormal
March 2008- unmeditcated IUI #1-failed
March 2008-first visit to ART- bloodwork normal, Andy normal, Post-coital test abnormal so Doc recommends Inseminations
February 2008-return to gyno telling her something is not right! She checks my charts and my progesterone-normal! Refers me to ART(fertility specialist)
December 2007- gyno visit-normal
October 2007-December 2007 Charting temps
December 2006-September 2007 Trying Trying Trying!
December 2006-I think we are ready!
August 2006-December 2006 Not trying but not preventing
May 2006- off the pill!
