Happy Six Months To You!

Every mother says it...I guess because it's so true..."Where did the time go?"! Wow, I really can't believe it's been six months! The 10 months I was pregnant were the longest 10 months of my life... these 6 months have definitely been the shortest (and sweetest!
Ryder is such a JOY and literally makes me smile all day long! (I'm pretty sure I say that like every post but what can I say...I'm in love)
The last big milestone was him sitting up a few weeks ago...oh, and he started eating real baby food Monday. I made a huge batch of sweet potatoes in hopes that surely he would like them...and he did..good thing, our freezer is full of them. No one told me about the orange poop though....that was intersting. He rolls around and "scoots" everywhere...crawling won't be far off I'm afraid. Sure was nice when I could watch the today show for 2 hours while he laid on his baby einstein mat..those days are over I'm afraid.
Oh, he also loves to eat his feet...and really anything that you put in his sight..







The picture posting is being weird and wouldn't let me write under each pic? What's going on with blogger..anyone know?
anyways, Ryder went to his first Bday party (out of my tummy anyways)- we had a blast celebrating Isaac's bday as you can tell how excited he and Ryder are in the pic...and then I had to take a cheesy pic of our matching boots...

New view from my crib....

After getting him up from his nap the other day I let him stand up holding onto his crib and he thought it was the coolest thing! I guess he had never seen his room from that view before! It's the little things....

I know I keep saying this but I just can't believe how much fun being a mom is....I'm so completely in love...Ryder makes me smile all day long! It seems that most people subtract from the number of kids they think they want once they have their first one but Ryder has added to mine! If the Lord so chooses, 5 would be great! (my request to the Lord is to make them all as easy as Ryder though(:

Today we were at a friends house and he all of the sudden started sitting up! I was shocked! Then when I brought him home we made him do it for daddy...

Roll Tide from LA!!!

We had an AWESOME trip to LA! It was such a blessing because some of our best friends (Patrick, Noelle, Graham, and baby on the way) just moved out there a few months ago so we got to stay with them which was such a treat! We had a blast getting to catch up with them and see their new life in LA...they showed us around to some of the hot spots that we would have never known about otherwise. Oh, yeah, and then there was a big game out there too....Roll Tide!!! Dad, my brother Tyler, my cousin Lee, Andy, and my cousin Patton...there were about 5 other family members there that didn't make it in this pic...we have lots of die hard bama fans in the fam!
