This is such a fun age....just in the past few weeks he's started getting so much more verbal...making animal noises (has now mastered cow, monkey, fish, dog, cat, and a few others).
I've been doing the baby sign language since 6 months pretty religiously but the only thing he signs on a regular basis is Light and Fan....too bad he can't learn the ones that would actually be helpful to me like "more" or "milk". I jumped up and down when he signed "please" for the first time the other day but he hasn't done it since. Oh well, at least he can moo.

We spend lots of time here these days (the new amacs)...meeting painters, picking out light fixtures, ordering new equipment, getting new signs made...ahhh, we'll be so ready when it's done!

Andy and I are teaching 5yr old boys Sunday School again and it really is so much fun...the little boys are just precious and say the cutest things (ok, and they are REALLY wild too!) But it makes us look forward to Ryder being that age. Having a child makes us realize the importance of the responsibility we have as the body of Christ to take care of these Covenant children- it really is such a privilege. Andy is GREAT at it and it melts my heart to see him with these kids!
These are 3 of my best friends in the entire world...Noelle (far right) moved to LA last year so when she and her family came back to visit we got to spend lots of time with them- girls nights, play dates with the kids, couples night, etc...we did it all! Our 4 husbands are best friends as well...so it really is such a unique blessing of friendship we have with them!

One of my best friends from college was in Mobile a few weeks ago so we drove down to see her and meet her little girl Addison...Ryder seems to be smitten..
Still loves to sleep....
